you have to have a merchant account in order to accept credit cards. Try going to a local bank and applying for a merchant account.

Your local bank should offer merchant credit card processing. If you're a member at Costco, they have good deals on merchant credit card accounts. They currently advertise 1.64% plus $0.20 per transaction. That is really good, but you will need to purchase the equipment which could run up to $500, so be sure to figure in all factors when comparing plans.

As you're shopping, let them know that you'll be accepting cards in craft shows – they may have helpful tips for the portability of your business.

There's a company called ProPay where you can set up a merchant account and process credit card payments online rather than pruchasing equipment. If you have access to wireless internet during the craft show, this could be an option for you.
